With over 50 years of experience as a gigging and recording musician, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my guitar lessons in Watford. As a versatile guitarist, I play with various bands, duos, and trios, covering genres from Rock and Roll to Jazz, Blues, R&B, and more. My extensive background includes writing and recording music, with several albums released. As a certified member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors, I offer personalised lessons from my home studio, drawing inspiration from my live and recording experiences to enrich your learning journey. Whether you're into acoustic or electric guitar, my lessons are tailored to help you explore and master the music you love.
James Williams (BA)
With 30 years of guitar playing experience and a solid foundation in music technology, I offer lessons tailored to your unique needs. My background spans live performances, music production, and teaching in higher education. What types of guitar lessons do you offer?
We offer 1:1 lessons, face to face or online in both acoustic and electric guitar, covering a variety of genres including rock, jazz, blues, and more. Our lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each student.
What Ages do you teach?
We teach students of all ages, with a recommended minimum starting age of 7. There is no maximum age limit.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or bank transfer. You can pay as you go or pay for a block of lessons in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly request that students notify us at least 48 hours in advance if they need to cancel a session. If cancellation occurs within 48 hours and the lesson cannot be rescheduled, the full price for the missed session will be charged.
Do you offer any discounts or package deals?
We occasionally offer special promotions and package deals for multiple lessons. Please contact us for the latest offers and pricing details.
